What is DQ-track?

If your employees join Discovery Insure and choose Vitalitydrive on their Plan, they can choose to install a device into their vehicle that monitors their driving behaviour by using telematics. This is called a DQ-Track. This device also allows them to receive feedback on their driving behaviour.

They then earn points based on how well they drive – we call these DQ Points . The more DQ Points they earn, the more rewards they’ll qualify for.

Safety features from Vitalitydrive and DQ-Track

If your employees join Vitalitydrive and get their DQ-Track devices installed, they will get access to the following safety features:

• ImpactAlert: If the vehicle is involved in an accident, ImpactAlert detects a g-force. We will phone the driver to find out if they are injured. If they are injured, or if they do not answer their phone, we will immediately send an emergency vehicle to the scene.
• Weather warnings: Using weather data and location information from DQ-Track, we will send Planholders relevant warnings of bad weather in their area.
• Find my vehicles: Discovery Insure clients with a smartphone-enabled DQ-Track can track all the vehicles covered on their Plan on their smartphone.
