How we help members with HIV/AIDS

December is the holiday and festive season, but that’s not all the month is known for. World AIDS Day is on 1 December to remind people around the world to know their status and keep fighting the virus, whether they have it or not. With modern treatment, people with HIV can live long, healthy lives.

We know HIV and AIDS can be a sensitive matter. That’s why we will never tell anyone your HIV status without your permission. If you have the condition, our skilled and professional team will help you get access to clinically sound and cost-effective treatment for your individual case.

HIVCare Programme

When you register on the HIVCare Programme you have access to the all-inclusive care you need. Once you are registered, the Scheme pays for your treatment in full as long as you use our designated service providers and your doctor prescribes medicine on our medicine list. In other words, once you register you don’t use up your day-to-day benefits to manage HIV/AIDS.

To register on the HIVCare Programme, call us on 0860 116 116.
