We recognise the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has on our country's healthcare professionals who are at the forefront of the challenge.
Given the potential exposure to COVID-19 for all healthcare professionals, Discovery Health Medical Scheme has extended cover for all healthcare professionals that are members of the Scheme, to include:
- Flu vaccines
- COVID-19 screening and testing for up to four Rapid Antigen and two PCR tests a year,per registered healthcare professional
Any healthcare professional who is a member of the Scheme and already registered with Discovery Health as a billing provider will be able to automatically access the benefit.
All other healthcare professionals who are members of the Scheme, but are not registered as billing providers with Discovery Health, can register for this benefit here.
The Discovery Health Medical Scheme is an independent non-profit entity governed by the Medical Schemes Act, and regulated by the Council for Medical Schemes. It is administered by a separate company, Discovery Health (Pty) Ltd, an authorised financial services provider.
