That's how many lives Goodbye Malaria was able to protect in 2023 in South Africa, Mozambique and Eswatini - of which, 236,846 were children under the age of five.
Despite this progress, malaria persists. According to the WHO Malaria report 2023, there were 7,300 confirmed cases in South Africa and 6 million people are at risk.
